Meet Cristin

Spiritual Director

Cristin is the Founder of Soulstice Sanctuary Church and the creator of WINN—We Invent New Normals. She is passionate about creating safe and sacred spaces where people can explore their unique spiritual path, deepen their relationship with a Universal Higher Power, and discover the wisdom that already lives within them.

With more than thirty years of experience in healthcare, holistic wellness, coaching, spirituality, and human development, Cristin brings together insights from science, psychology, contemplative traditions, and ancient wisdom to support personal growth and conscious living. Her work is grounded in the belief that every person possesses inherent worth, unique gifts, and an innate capacity for healing, transformation, and meaningful contribution.

Rather than offering people a single belief system or telling them who they should become, Cristin encourages curiosity, self-discovery, and direct spiritual experience. She believes that authentic transformation begins when we remember who we truly are beneath fear, conditioning, and expectation, and when we choose to live from that place with greater presence, purpose, compassion, and love.

Her mission is to help create a world where people feel empowered to explore their own spiritual journey with authenticity, reverence, and courage—awakening to their inner wisdom and living the unique gifts they came here to share.

"My work isn't to tell you who to become. My work is to help you remember who you already are."

Meet David

Safety & Compliance Director

David first experienced an expanded state of consciousness, during a meditation experiment on an enormous, hot boulder by a spring in the Anza Borrego desert in Southern California. The experience was so profound it changed the trajectory of his life. Over the next three decades he continued to explore the spiritual and therapeutic aspects of expanded states using many different modalities including natural medicines, Ashtanga yoga, meditation and breath work.

David is a Ph.D. neuroscientist with 30 years of experience in academia and the pharmaceutical industry. His scientific career has provided him with a strong foundation in understanding how natural medicines affect the brain and body, as well as the potential interactions between natural medicines and pharmaceutical drugs. For the past ~16 years he has worked as a teacher, coach and facilitator assisting people in safely navigating expanded states of consciousness.

David views community as an essential part of working with expanded states of consciousness, providing the connection, perspective, and support that can help people navigate experiences that may be difficult to understand or integrate alone. He believes that meaningful transformation does not happen in isolation; it is strengthened through relationships with people who can listen without judgment, share wisdom, and help us remain grounded while exploring new ways of understanding ourselves and the world. More broadly, he sees healthy community as fundamental to human flourishing—a place where people can contribute their own experiences while also allowing themselves to be supported by the wisdom, compassion, and presence of others.

Meet Lynne

Operations Director

Lynne has long understood life as a path of inquiry, practice, and
awakening. A lifelong seeker, she has remained open to wisdom wherever it appears: within the familiar rituals of her Roman Catholic upbringing, the rigorous inquiry of Rinzai Zen practice, the symbolic languages of astrology and tarot, the insights of Jungian Dream and Archetypal Shadow work, and the emerging insights of science into consciousness, mind, and the nature of reality.

In 2010, she began sitting with Green Tara Sangha in Green Bay,
Wisconsin, where her spiritual practice found a disciplined and sustaining home. She took Jukai vows in March 2013 and was ordained in December 2015. She received her Dharma name, Shunya, "Pure Hearted Emptiness", at her ordination. Lynne completed Mondo Zen Facilitator training in May 2018.

Through Zen practice, she has continued to explore presence, self-inquiry, emotional clarity, and the spacious awareness that becomes available when one meets life directly. Her seeking has never been confined to a single tradition. Shunya’s openness
to all faith paths and contemplative systems reflects her belief that truth can be approached through many doors.

Shunya holds a Bachelor of Arts from Lakeland College in Business Administration and Quality Management. Travel, gardening, and yoga are near and dear to her heart, each offering its own form of practice. Travel opens the world and expands perspective; gardening teaches patience, cycles, and care; yoga brings body, breath, and awareness into conversation.

Together, these loves reflect Lynne’s devotion to living with
attention, gratitude, and embodied presence. She is deeply grateful to all her teachers, family, friends, fellow practitioners, and furry live-in Zen Masters for their ongoing support of her practice.

Meet Theresa

Financial/Marketing Director

I believe that healing is a sacred journey of returning to your true self. As a certified yoga instructor, Shamanic healer, and Certified Peter Hess® Sound Massage Practitioner, I am passionate about creating a safe, nurturing space where individuals can relax, release what no longer serves them, and reconnect with their inner wisdom.

I have been serving my community for almost 15 years as a yoga instructor and Shamanic healer. My own healing journey has included several plant medicine experiences that have changed my life in the most profound ways. I continue to evolve as I deepen my studies through a three-year advanced training program on the Shamanic Path. I am committed to honoring both ancient wisdom and modern approaches to holistic wellness, allowing me to support individuals in a way that is intuitive, personalized, and heart-centered.

As part of my commitment to spiritual growth and community, I am also helping to establish an entheogenic church rooted in reverence, personal responsibility, and respect for sacred traditions. My intention is to create a welcoming spiritual community where individuals can gather with purpose, deepen their connection with themselves and their Universal Higher Power, and explore personal transformation in a supportive, ethical, and intentional environment.

“I believe growth happens when people feel accepted, supported, empowered and loved.”
